The headline only mentions Brad Pitt as a source for a rumor that the Jolie-Pitt clan will be adding another member, but the picture on the cover is of BrAngelina, so this story gets a label mentioning both of them.   With these two, it may not be a Bun In The Oven Alert™ per se, but that's the only label I have that fits.

It should also be noted that a new addition to the Jolie-Pitt clan is a rumor as popular as the Kardashian pregnancy stories, and we haven't had one of those in at least two years.

Fresh trash on... Wednesdays!?! Yes, there is clearly the Story of the Week, so let's get an early start on it. Some combination Brad and Jen and Angie and Justin (Theroux, the odd man out when it comes to gossip fame in this crowd) show up on an astonishing seven of The Only Ten Magazines That Matter, and given that none of them are old enough to be interesting to the Globe and the low rent Examiner and Nostradamus foolishly forgot to make any prophecies about them that would be published in the Sun, seven is just about the max anyone can get.

The National Enquirer story is way different from the others, so it will get its own post tomorrow.

Brad Pitt was interviewed in Parade magazine in the publicity run-up to his new movie Moneyball and he made some comments about having no ambition in the 1990s and his marriage to Jennifer Aniston no being what he had hoped for. This has caused a stink and he has publicly apologized, but that doesn't stop the gossip rags from flying off the handle in a jillion different directions. Here are the headlines.

The news in reputable sources says Angie is working on a movie, so that may be the kernel of truth behind this story.

I admit sheepishly I opened the Enquirer this week looking at the story about Chaz Bono's life threatening problem, a 2,000 calorie a day diet to lose weight.

Not life threatening.

I also browsed the Brad Pitt story. He was caught smoking marijuana.

That doesn't impress me much either, in terms of scandalous behavior.

As usual, the couple does not bother confirming or denying anything.

Yet again, rumors of trouble in the BrAngelina relationship make the front cover of an American supermarket rag. Brad is shooting World War Z, a movie about the world after a zombie apocalypse is averted, and OK! says he was allegedly "intimate" with a woman on the set, who gets in a picture on the cover but is not named.

Angelina is so upset she has stopped the wedding, an event she has never confirmed is going to happen in the first place.

Actually, the majority of stories saying they have had a secret wedding already have been peddled by In Touch. Just in case they think someone has noticed, on this story they have a special "It's Official!" headline.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think if something the only people allowed to keep things both official and secret are governments.
