It is the rare reality TV star who can get good press in the supermarket rags a year and a half after her show is off the air, but Kristin Cavallari appears to be that rare individual.  Weekly Life & Style thinks their readers still want to know about her love life, but not enough to put a picture of her intended on the cover.  You'll have to open the magazine to find out to whom she is engaged, and that is something I don't do on general principles.

Fresh trash on Thursdays!  Over recent months, the lion's share of Kardashian stories have been about Kim, but this week Kourtney and her no-good boyfriend get a big cover spread on Weekly Life & Style. Here are the headlines.

• Betrayed: Scott's affair with Kristin
•     A devastated Kourtney calls off the wedding
•     Another Kardashian bombshell
•     Sleazy Scott caught with Kristin Cavallari in Vegas

And since she's mentioned, here's a picture of Kristin, a former reality TV star so definitely in Scott's league, but not a cash cow, so he might want to rethink this.

If what happens in Scott Disick's rum and testosterone fevered brain can be called thinking.

Only one supermarket rag is still interested in ex-reality TV star Kristin Cavallari, and that's Weekly Life & Style. They had a story in May about her getting in engaged, a story in August about her groom getting cold feet and a third story now about the wedding being back on.

I agree with the editorial position of the other nine of The Only Ten Magazines That Matter. I do not give a rat's ass what happens to Kristin Cavallari.

Only Weekly Life & Style thought former reality TV star Kristin Cavallari's engagement last May was newsworthy, and they are also the only magazine that thinks Kristin getting dumped is newsworthy as well. They also thought it was worth exclusive pictures.

It's been a slow week in the supermarket rags. I haven't been able to find a copy of this week's low rent Examiner anywhere, the Sun was completely lame as was the Weekly World News, and the number of stories about Wills'N'Kate pushed other gossip off the covers.

Also, we get two engagements of women who have nothing to do with each other lumped into a single story.

Kate and Kristin.

I know what you're asking? Kate who?

This time it's Kate Hudson, who has never, ever been important enough to be known just by her first name in the gossip world.

A year ago, Kate meant Kate Gosselin. Now, it means Kate Middleton. Tabloid headline writers, please take note.

And the other one is Kristin Cavallari. There are boatloads of Kristens and Kirstens and Kirsties in the gossip world right now. Technically, the only other Kristin with two "i"s is Kristin Davis of the Sex and the City series, but she has only had one mention in sixteen months, so Kristin Cavallari kinda sorta deserves the first name basis, since this is her sixth cover story.
