This week had several headlines that the gossip rags have used before and will definitely use again. The Enquirer had a "Who's Gay and Who's Not" story, the Star went with "Stars Without Make-Up" and Us has that old stand-by "Diets That Work". The biggest picture goes to the biggest star, high maintenance diva Jennifer Lopez, who will probably be on a lot more covers this year now that she is a judge on American False Idol.

There is also a picture of Bachelorette Ali, an attractive young woman though something may be wrong with her neck.

Also featured on the cover is Jennifer Hudson, the only one of these women who was actually overweight earlier in her career.

Kelly Osborne got some positive mentions in the supermarket rags for losing weight, and now they also give her kudos for her "secrets" for keeping the weight off.

Here's a "secret". Remember how much you used to eat? You can't eat that much anymore, no matter how much you might want to.

Us Weekly also includes a picture of Jennifer Hudson on the cover, another celebrity who lost a lot of weight and has kept it off so far.

I tend to make fun of the celebrities on the covers of magazines. Jennifer Hudson has had three family members killed by an estranged brother in law. There are no jokes in that situation.

The Chicago born singer and actress has lost about 50 pounds over the past few years and this good news for her landed her on the cover of three supermarket tabloids this week. Good for her and best wishes for her career.
