On the Rocks Alert:Jen's new man cheated

Yet again, we are privy to Jennifer Aniston's alleged love life and yet again, the news isn't good. While OK! would have us believe that things are going swimmingly with actor Christopher Gartin, Weekly Life & Style tells us that the actor is cheated.

Note the use of the past tense. Gartin is divorced, so maybe this is saying he cheated on his ex-wife. Since both Aniston and Gartin deny anything romantic is going on between them, it makes it hard for him to cheat on someone he isn't actually dating.

OK! will not give up the story that Jennifer Aniston is a mom. They want desperately to remove her from the Hollywood spinster list and they will concoct any cock and bull story to make this dream of theirs come true. The most recent dodge is that she is dating Christopher Gartin, the actor who played Hugo on three episodes of True Blood, and that Jen is great with Chris' kids from a previous marriage, so much so that his ex-wife is extremely jealous.

Every part of the story has been denied. Aniston and Gartin are old friends but not romantically involved.

This combination of lying, moving the goalposts of the lie and then lying some more about the new lie reminds me of the weapons of mass destruction crap that got us into Iraq. I blush to make this comparison, since the result of this extended load of nonsense won't be the unnecessary deaths of hundreds of thousands of people, just the reduction of OK!'s reliability to the level of the Globe and the Examiner.
