Okay, here's a cute one. The Sun, a British tabloid owned by Rupert Murdoch, is reporting that Angelina Jolie bought Brad Pitt an olive tree for Valentine's Day at a cost of $18,500. The clear implication is that it is a peace offering.
You might recall that only last week BrAngelina decided to sue Murdoch's News of the World tabloid for stories they have printed. Is this story actually true? Is it just Murdoch putting forward an olive branch to the couple? Is it the British tabloids sending a message in code that reads "We had good intelligence things weren't going well between you, but we are now willing to lay off"?
Is there a way to read this story that I'm missing?
Gosh, this is almost as fun as trying to guess what the Chinese government was doing during the era of The Gang Of Four by reading and deciphering wall posters.
